About the LivDry Hyper Pad Inserts
Hyper inserts are large pads with a waterproof back, worn inside a pull-up, a brief or mesh pants as a two-piece system. Unlike a booster, which lets liquid flow through to the garment around it, an insert keeps the leak in its own core, so you change the insert and not the whole garment. Five capacities let you choose how much you need, rated in lab testing to ISO 11948-1 from 2,180 mL (74 oz) for Hyper 1200 to 4,034 mL (136 oz) for Hyper 2800.
On the boosters & inserts shelf you will find it next to the Insert Pad 500, both part of the LivDry range.
Key features
- Waterproof back: The backing faces the garment and keeps the leak in the insert.
- Pick your capacity: Hyper 1200 to Hyper 2800, rated from 2,180 to 4,034 mL (74 to 136 oz).
- Leg cuffs: Raised cuffs along both sides turn a leak back to the center.
- Easy to place: Large and flat, so a carer can place it for someone lying down.

LivDry Disposable Bed Pads
Disposable underpad with a waterproof back, 30 x 36 or 36 x 36 in
How to wear it
- 1
Lay the insert in the pull-up, brief or mesh pants with the cuffs standing up.
- 2
Center it from front to back. The narrow middle goes between the legs.
- 3
Put the garment on as usual and check the cuffs at the legs.
- 4
When the insert is full, take it out and lay a fresh one in.
When it fits
Heavy leaks in people who sit or lie most of the day, care at home, nights. Hyper 1200 and 1600 for heavy days, 2000 to 2800 for the heaviest.
For carers, the NIA suggests regular reminders to use the bathroom, and MedlinePlus asks you to clean and dry the skin soon after every leak.
